This handwoven wool rug was made by an Indigenous artist in Mexico.  It is approximately 30” x 60”.  The village of Teotitlan Del Valle is the weaving center for the Zapotec people and has been for centuries.  Handwoven Zapotec rugs are exquisite textiles crafted by the Zapotec people of Oaxaca, Mexico. These rugs are known for their vibrant colors, intricate geometric patterns, and use of natural dyes derived from plants, insects, and minerals.
